Even the coldest of temperatures couldn’t tarnish the amazing beauty that is Jenny. Her genuine, kind heart just fills the room and you can’t help but smile when you are surrounded by her and her friends. That is exactly what you need when Mother Nature throws 10 degrees below zero at you. This group didn’t miss a beat. Ryan and the boys have an authentic “Chicago” nature, that you only know if you have grown up there. They’re loyal, and fun and they didn’t leave the dance floor the entire evening.
Jenny’s glam squad was perfectly on point….hair by Nicole Marie Salon, flawless Makeup by Chrissy Lally and Courtney Saraceno. Her dress fit her as if it was one of kind made just for her, and those FLOWERS!!! Zuzu’s Petals hit it out of the park with these winter wonderland florals that made everyone swoon!
You know, there is something to be said about a ceremony at the church you not only grew up in, but where you went to school. While it was a large wedding, the service was intimate and special and we felt lucky to be a part of it.
Then on to Eaglewood Resort and Spa in Itasca that was still decorated with a beautiful, giant, sparkly Christmas tree and all of the fabulous things that make Holiday Weddings feel cozy and warm. The Dan Hayes Orchestra had the dance floor rocking and the speeches from the parents and the MOH and Best Man just hit us right in the feels! I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house!
This was definitely a wedding worth braving the cold for, and we feel so grateful to have been asked to be part of such wonderful team (shout out to Shanon Page Productions for being so wonderful to work along side of). Thank you to the bridal party for being so patient and helpful, and a to the Riemersma and Christopherson families for inviting us in on such a special time in your lives. Cheers to the new Mr. And Mrs. Jenny and Ryan Christopherson! Here’s to a lifetime of cozy snuggles on those cold winter days.
